0.65× Wide-Angle Expansion Module
Sold separately at USD $200
• A CNC-milled aluminium mounting system, precisely fitted to the Mavic 4 Pro's triple-camera bayonet structure
• The optical element is a brand-new DJI original Mavic 3 series wide-angle lens, re-machined and adapted to achieve optical performance comparable to native DJI optics
• The 0.65× factor expands the 28 mm equivalent lens to approximately 18–20 mm
What it is for:
This module is optimised for video. It gives a noticeably wider, more cinematic field of view — useful for aerial sequences, spatial coverage and wide-angle storytelling.
Two important points:
- This is a video tool. It is NOT for matrix panoramic capture and should not be fitted when shooting with PanoMatrix. I will send separate notes on this.
- Under ultra-wide conditions you may see minor edge softness, chromatic aberration and barrel distortion. We supply lens distortion correction profiles for DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
A necessary disclaimer: this is a third-party modification developed by us. It is not a DJI product and carries no DJI endorsement. DJI would not cover any damage attributable to third-party optics. It is supplied as is, for your use at your own discretion, with fitting instructions included.
Notes & Warnings ( Wide-Angle Adapter / ND Filter Set )
Do not use optical kits during matrix shooting.
It was developed to optimize video recording.
